2002 EAGLES

#10 Joe Ramsey

Year: Senior
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 190
Position: WR/DB/K
Hometown: Laguna Niguel

Joe enters his senior season as the Eagles starting free safety. A big, physical and instinctive athlete, Joe should prove to be a formidable weapon for the Eagles in the secondary. As the free safety for the Eagles, Joe's speed and power is bound to give oppositions' receivers and runners second thoughts of crossing his path. A big time hitter, Joe is always looking to make the big play to help his team win and has worked hard in the off-season to ensure a successful 2002 campaign. In addition to his defensive responsibilities, Joe will also play a key role on special teams and at Wide Receiver on Offense.

In 2001: Joe played a key back-up role on defense last year behind all-league safeties Thomas Cappelletti and Ashton White. However he used that time to sharpen his skills and contributed significantly on special teams where he blocked two punts and scored one touchdown.

Misc: Joe Ramsey is the older brother of fellow Varsity team member Chris. He is an Honor Roll student who has earned recognition as a member of the 800 LB club, Power Eagles & Speed Eagles. He has aspirations of continuing his playing career at a military academy.
