Series Facts: It was a battle of runners in 1996 as SM's Billy Newman ourtrushed Chris Lewis in a 38-24 Eagle win. In 1995 the Eagles avenged two previous losses with a 20-0 victory. In the 1994 opener, the Mustngs took the opening kickoff back for a score and held on for a 17-12 win. In 1989 the Eagles held their own in the first half before Trabuco Hills pulled away in the second half. the eagles played with only juniors and sophomores against a team that went on to win the CIF title. Series tied 2-2.
