Brad Dillahunty Award
In memory of Eagle Football Player & Coach Brad Dillahunty
Class of 2002, Sept 19, 1983 - June 6, 2008
Brad encompassed all that Eagle Football represents. He was a leader on the field, a scholar athlete and was chosen by his teammates to be a Captain his Senior year. Beyond Brad's competitive side there was a creative, adventurous side. Music was constantly in his life. Close friends will tell you he lived to "jam!". He was a loyal, dedicated friend, avid surfer, and was always looking towards his next adventure. Brad returned to coach at SMCHS in 2003 and became a respected member of the Eagle Coaching Staff. His contributions to Eagle Football as a player and coach will not be forgotten.
An award is given each season in Brad's name to the Varsity football player that encompasses the qualities that made Brad such a remarkable young man. The requirements are that he must be a leader on the field, respected by his teammates and maintain solid academics off the field.
