His 43 receptions are the eighth best single season total in school history. Whithorne caught three passes in the Rialto, St. John Bosco and Mater Dei Games. Bobby has a fabulous off-season where he earned a starting position. Whithorne has great hand-eye coordination and outstanding 4.55 speed. Bobby is an Honor Roll student who is also a member of the Speed Eagle and Hartigan's Heroes Clubs. Bobby's older brother Jimmy was a two-year letterman for the Eagles in 1998-99.
