Misc: Has 36 career receptions (good for 15th on the all-time list) for 493 yards (16th on the all-time list). Maxwell is considered the Eagles’ most explosive player and is a solid prospect for the 2007 recruiting season. Ryan scored the 5,000th point in Eagle history with his receiving touchdown against Bishop Amat. The Serra League’s 100- and 200-meter Champion can run the 40 in 4.41 range and bench presses over 250. Is expected to be an impact player for the next two years.
What others are saying:
“If anyone ever doubts whether Ryan Maxwell of Santa Margarita
has legitimate speed, all he needs to do is pull out a videotape
from Friday (Sept. 16, 2005) night’s intersectional game
against Los Angeles Dorsey and let them watch him run away from
startled Don players.” – Eric Sondheimer, Los Angeles
Times.
