Eagles lose to Aztecs CIF Round 1
The Eagles ended a tough 2002 campaign with a first round loss to the Esperanza Aztecs in the firste ever meeting between 2 of the top football factories in Orange County.

The SM defense came up big holding Mater Dei to under 100 total yards and 0 points. DT Matt Rupp had a big night breaking the career sack record as only a junior. Offensively the Eagles controlled the Line of Scrimmage rushing for over 150 yards and dominated the time of posession with long drives.
