The Eagles outgained the Griffins on offense 424-398 but only scored once in the first half. RB Ashton White ran 28 times for 164 yards. QB Marshall Tharpe was 17/29 and 240 yards passing and 2 TDs. WR Bobby Whithorne made 7 catches for 140 yards and 1TD. Congratulations Eagles on another great season, making the 2nd round of the playoffs and winning back-to-back Serra League Titles. Eagles win the 2001 Stanford Passing League Tournament! The Varsity went 6-1 losing their first game of the day but then dominated the rest of the tournament. Over the course of the tournament they also beat last year's champion Oak Grove. The JV team was the only JV team entered into the tournament and also dominated finishing 3rd in the tournament and 5-1against all varsity teams.
