#99 Senior Alex Huston has taken charge on the defensive line contributing a team high 5.5 sacks, four fumble recvoveries and three passes broken up. He is also third on the team with 43 tackles. Alex was named to the All-Serra league First Team this week. Huston collected three tackles and broke up a pass against Servite in Week 10. In Week 9, he helped limit Mater Dei to only 64 yards rushing in a huge win. Alex had an outstanding game at Bishop Amat in Week 6 as he collected three tackles, two sacks, recovered a fumble and broke up two passes. His efforts earned him a Defensive Player of the Game award for the fourth time this season. In Week 3, Alex led the team with eight tackles, ½ sacks and a fumble recovery vs. Lakewood. Huston collected three tackles and forced a fumble against Los Al in Week 2. Alex picked up a career-high nine tackles including a sack at Ayala in Week 1.

In 1999: Huston collected nine total tackles including four tackles and a sack vs. San Diego Lincoln in Week 1 and three tackles against San Clemente.
