Eagles 21 - A.B. Miller 27 - The Eagles finish the season (8-3) and Serra League Champs after a tough Overtime loss to A.B.
Miller for the second year in a row. Congratulations to the entire team, parents, and especially the seniors who have dedicated so

Five Eagles have either set or tied school records in 2000.
- Tyler Thompson set the school
mark with the longest run from scrimmage with a 95-yard
touchdown run at Norco breaking Billy newman and Josh
Ireland's mark of 91 yards. (Tyler just missed another
mark in the same game as he scored on a 94-yard touchdown
pass). Tyler also tied Billy Newman's record of consecutive
200-yard games (2) and broke another of Newman's marks
with 35 carries in a game with his effort against Servite.
- Junior WR/DB/KR Johnnie Walker
returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown against Lakewood
to tie Billy Newman's mark set against Fountain Valley
in 1996.
- Junior WR/DB/PK Curtis Cooper's
two field goals against Lakewood tied the mark for most
field goals in a game held by Travis Lucero, Ryan Korinke,
Nick Sparks, Matt Froehlich and David Doomey. Cooper
also tied a school mark with seven extra points against
St. John Bosco.
- Senior punter Matt Vogel has set
the record for most punts and punting yardage in a career
with 77 and 2,493 respectively breaking records set
by Lee Smith in 1997-98.
- Senior Guard Ryan Lumm has set
the career mark for decleaters with 61.5, breaking Stan
Bennett's mark of 59.5.
