Santa Margarita concluded their 1999 Spring Practice sessions on June 11th. They will take the next three weeks off before resuming their preparation for the upcoming 1999 season with the opening of summer camp on June 28th. The Eagles conducted Spring Drills with a 59-man varsity roster - their largest ever - including a record 38 returning lettermen. A record 13 of these lettermen are two-time lettermen who will be going for their third straight CIF Championship Game appearance. The Summer Passing League season begins with a game against El Toro on June 29th. The Eagles will host Long Beach Poly on Thursday, July 15th.
