Series Facts: The series is tied, 1-1, thanks to a near-perfect game by the Eagles in 1993. The 19-0 league-ending game gave the Eagles the third place seed. The 1992 game was for second place in the league, and the Sailors used a swarming defense to riddle the Eagles, 27-16.

1994 Outlook: Newport advanced to the CIF playoffs last year but lost to Glendora in the first round. Wade Tift and Steve Gonzalez are gone and the Sailors have a lot of holes to fill. This game has always been a crucial in the Sea View race.
