This was the inaugural sophomore season for the Santa Margarita Eagles.   Playing a JV schedule, the Eagles fielded a true sophomore team and compiled a 6-3-1 record.  This year also marked the first varsity game in school history. The Eagles,  playing with only Sophomores lost to the varsity team of the Ontario Christian Knights 31-0 at Saddleback College.
