Sr. LB Troy Willett was named 2nd Team All-Orange County and 1st Team All-Trinity League Defense. Sr. DL Andrew Spangenberg was named 1st Team All-Trinty League Defense. Sr. RB Spencer Tyson & Sr. OL Tom Chiarello were named 1st Team All-Trinity League Offense.  So. TE Max Tuerk & Jr. OL Kyle McPherson were named 2nd Team All-Trinity League Offense. Jr. DL Douglas Woodward & So. LB Matt Andersen were named 2nd Team All-Trinity League Defense. SMCHS friends, families, faculty and staff left their mark on Eagle history on Thursday, Oct. 8, as they signed a beam that hangs in the weight room of the school’s new Eagle Athletic Center. More Info
The Eagles (3-7, 0-5) end the season with a loss to the Orange Lutheran Lancers. Senior linebacker and Captain Troy Willett, collected 12 tackles. Troy finished the year with not only 140 tackles but two sacks, a forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, an interception and four passes broken up. On his final high school play Willett also scored his first rushing touchdown. Senior RB Spencer Tyson ran for 92 yards. Spencer finished as the Eagles’ leading rusher for the second straight year as he ran for 968 yards in nine games of action - an average of 108 per game. Watch the game.
The Eagles (3-6, 0-4) scored twice late in the fourth quarter on TD passes of 78 and 21 yards from Bobby Crane to Reiley Higgins.

Cory Thompson returned a 96-yard kickoff return for a TD. Quarterback Bobby Crane added two 1-yard touchdowns, and Reilly Higgins scored on a 59-yard halfback pass from Colton Christensen.
