Bryant ended a brilliant high school career at Santa Margarita after Capo Vally Christian dropped it's football program. By his senior season, Bryant had rushed for 1,772 yards, scored 26 touchdowns, was All-League, All-CIF, and All-County. Bryant ended his high school football career ranked third in county rushing history with 4,908 career yards.

Bryant went on to play football at Wheaton College.
